Inglot Las Vegas

I just recently got back from Las Vegas and while I was there I made it a point to stop by the Inglot store in the Forum shops at Caesar's Palace.

Inglot is a Polish makeup company that has a long history of producing high-quality but affordable products, using the best available raw products. With stores mainly located throughout Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Asia, Inglot is new to the U.S. with only a handful of stores (five to be exact). I've read lots of reviews and tutorials that have done nothing but rave about this brand, so when I found out one of those stores happened to be in Las Vegas, I just knew I had to go check it out. I dragged my friend Elina along with me and together we explored the store, taking pictures, testing products, and indulging in some light shopping.

The store itself is on the smallish side, but it's very neatly organized, clean, and very modern looking.

Thanks to Elina for many of the following photos!

So many choices!

I decided to treat myself to one of Inglot's famed "Freedom System" shadow palettes. I picked up the 4-shadow square and spent quite a bit of time testing the many different shades they offer. My love for neutrals once again won out and ultimately I didn't go too far outside my comfort zone; however, I did purchase a lovely cranberry pink shade. Trust me, this color is amazing on grey-green eyes! Even better? Four shadows and a palette only set me back $28! So much cheaper than my beloved MAC palettes! As Charlie Sheen would say, WINNING!

Here is what I ended up with:
Handful of swatches!
Without flash
With flash. Look at those speckles of shimmer!

I love the packaging! The top is a thick piece of magnetized plastic. This puppy doesn't budge, so I didn't have to worry once about my new shadows making a safe journey home in my luggage!

Now for the good stuff: some swatches!

In case you might be wondering about the formula, I can tell you this: these shadows have an unbelievable texture! They're so silky smooth and they blend wonderfully together. They also last forever. I wore the cranberry shade home on the plane, and after 10+ hours of traveling (lame flight delays), my eyes still looked fresh and bright. Even my husband, who never notices or comments on my makeup, commented on how pretty my eyes looked (*heart melts a bit; he's such a cutie*).

Phillip, the very kind MUA at Inglot, informed me that there are plans to expand the brand throughout the U.S. Considering that there is such a high demand for the product, I'm happy to hear that. NYC has two successful Inglot stores, which makes me suspect that Boston might be eyed as a possible expansion city (I hope, anyway!). If not, I suppose I don't mind ordering stuff from the website, but I would prefer being able to go to a store and enjoy the purchasing process.

I give my Inglot experience two thumbs way up. If you're traveling to the Las Vegas area anytime soon, I highly recommend stopping in and picking up a Freedom System product of your own!

And in closing, here is a little add-on:
This might be a makeup blog, but I am also heavily into fashion, so don't be surprised if I sneak in the occasional OOTD (Outfit Of The Day). For some late night drinks the first night, I decided to color block some fun and flirty neon colors. This is Vegas after all! ;)
